Sometimes love finds you. Your story isn't always a fairy tail and your life isn't always a walk in the park ... but love finds you.

Justin is a dear friend of mine and I couldn't be happier for him as I have been these last few weeks. He recently got engaged to the love of his life, Jillian, and she completes him perfectly. I only had to spend an hour with them last weekend and it was as clear as the evening sky that they were made for each other. If it seems like there was a lot of laughter during this shoot ... there was. And those who know Justin, know that he laughs and smiles just about as often as he breathes.

Justin, Jillian ... enjoy these. We cannot wait for the wedding in October!

Probably the most adorable thing I've ever seen at an engagement shoot ... in my whole life.

Kaylin, Jillian's daughter, came along during this afternoon/evening shoot, and yes ... she brought her pink camera as well. I've never had a second shooter at an engagment session but it was awesome to have her along snapping shots behind me. Of course, I had to grab a few shot of her. The pure joy when she snapped the perfect sunset photo ... priceless.

Kaylin and I later got into a photo battle after the session where we were shooting quick-draw pix of each other. I'm pretty sure she won ...
